John's mellow, resonant voice and big acoustic guitar sound
are very well known and loved in the Midwest. For ten years,
he and guitarist Steve Nelson comprised a musical duo called
setting new and very high standards for performing duos at
clubs, fairs, and festivals around the Midwest, nearly anywhere
a musical good time was to be had. During that time, John
and Steve released three superb albums on CD and cassette:

• The Lost Episodes •
They all showcase John's great singing and songwriting.
He is also a very entertaining and respected solo musician,
covering other artists such as Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor,
Jimmy Buffett, Jerry Jeff Walker, and many more, better than anyone.
Zoid has sat in with John and Steve, and accompanied John on his solo
shows many times, and while John is currently pursuing some other projects,
they are working some special dates together as "Connor and Zoid."
